Workshop/ Carnival Work:
Strange Cargo Arts Company
I work part time for a local community arts company named 'Strange Cargo' who specialise in community events, workshops and installation. With a focus on the local people and bringing arts to everyone. Most famously, the company creates the Folkestone 'Charivari Carnival.' A yearly carnival event that consists of working with all the local schools in the area and creating large, weird and wonderful sculptures for a procession that walks through the town in July every year, bringing the whole area together.
